Different Satuday, same ****. On the topic of moral victories... no, this team stopped taking moral victories a long time ago. Losses are motivation to do better the following week. If they played Kansas the same way they played Kansas State last week, this game is a blow out.
I know you're sick and tired, but jesus I hate the words coming out of mouths like yours. I can't imagine what this team would be like if they went out with an attitude like this.

I wish I could shake off a loss like this like some of you...I'm crushed, again. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. Can't wait to watch Iowa crush Michigan tonight to top it all off...

Great game; fun to watch

Defense was horrible.
No turnovers on offense and very few penalties +1. Keep in mind Ks. missed an extra point, so actually we still would of lost by one if you want to talk about leaving points on the field.

re: Official: ISU @ KU "post" game thread
If our offense can click, doesn't have to be perfect but somewhere between today and earlier this year, we are definitely in more games than we are out of through the rest of the schedule.
That being said, the lack of a pass rush is going to be tough to overcome game after game.

re: Official: ISU @ KU "post" game thread
Like someone else said, botching the field goal ended up giving us good field position which led to a touchdown, it's hard to say we left the margin of difference on the field because who knows how it would have gone if he'd made the kick.

Tough loss today guys. I was really hoping the Clones would pull that one out. Had that been in JTS, I think you would have. Still (and I was only watching it via Gamecast, so tough to tell), it looks like this could be a "corner-turning" game for CPR & for the program. I hope so, anyway.
Defense obviously needs some work, but then KU's defense sucks too, so it's not like it was that lopsided or anything.
FWIW, I think you'd DESTROY Illinois, Purdue and Northwestern (and I don't mean that as a backhanded compliment or anything).
Anyway, good game; sorry about the outcome. Good luck next week.

The negatives are obvious and have been mentioned. On the plus side, Arnaud looked better than he has all year, and imo played a better game than Reising. Alexander Robinson is a man, and my favorite player on the team. Yet again we had our opportunity to win it at the end and blew it though. The team needs to go sacrifice a goat or something and pull out some of these close games later in the season.

Man, for some reason this program can't "break through" and get that momentum victory they need to jump start the program. We've been so close so many times. One of these days it will happen but this one really hurts.
