Is A-Rob a pro?
I know he's not your typical size NFL back but I'm curious if anyone else thinks he could get drafted (assuming a healthy '09 and '10).

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
Yes, he is... And, mark this down, he will be a better NFL back than Shawn Green because he can play every down. I can seriously see him making a team as a third down back only to ease into a starting role later... He is Warrick Dunn.

He also can catch out of the back field or split out, something Green didnt do. Do you think he can be a LT type player in the NFL?

He will never be LT good, but like I said, I think Warrick Dunn type is his ceiling.

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
He put up 150 today without using his top gear. A 100 percent arob and we're 5-1.

He is a stud and a role model for this young program.

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. A-Rob is good but not LT good. Maybe good enough to make an NFL team and contribute a few years into his NFL career.
Droppin' 3's like my name is Scotty C.

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
He's looking more and more like an NFL caliber 3rd down back, although I don't see him as a feature back.

That is not what I meant. The type of back is what I was talking about. One that can run or catch balls out of the back field and use his speed. LT is on his own level.

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
I think he will have to play like LT. They are pretty similar in their build. I don't know he has the physical talent to be that good, but be a similar type of back. Depending on the system he is in, I think he could be a pro bowler at some point. Put him on the Patriots or any team that uses the passing game as an extension of the run and I think he succeeds.

It was clear that's what you said, but as soon as someone's name is mentioned, sometimes people decide that it's a direct comparision. In terms of being a back who can contribute in the running and passing game, he's an LT type, although, as you said, not on that same rare level.

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
Honestly, I don't care. I'm just enjoying him as a Cyclone for now and for next season. Will evaluate after that. Seems like the guys we have this early pro talk about either fizzle out or leave.
Great game from him again today, kid is tough.

Re: Is A-Rob a pro?
It's pretty clear our offensive line is giving ARob great holes to run through. I think he'll be a fringe pro but doesn't have the size or speed to be a starter in the NFL.
