'Winnable' games??
Of the following games... which ones are 'winnable'
Baylor- Yes
Nebraska- No
A&M- Yes
Oklahoma State- No
Colorado- Yes
Missouri- Yes -
Re: 'Winnable' games??
I would say all are winnable with the two you said "no" to are unlikely.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -
Re: 'Winnable' games??
I'm leaning towards the OSU game in the winnable category (I thought it was a sure L in preseason) - if Bryant stays out the rest of the year and Hunter stays dinged up.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
Oklahoma State is a winnable game IMO if we don't go back into hibernation with our offense.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
I love the enthusiasm, but I count Baylor and CU there.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
didn't A&M just take OSU to the wire today? Either OSU sucks or we are grossly underestimating A&M

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers. -
Re: 'Winnable' games??
As others have said - we suffer from playing to our competition. I see use either getting blown out or being in way too close to favor us.
I say we get 2 more somewhere.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
OSU is a completely different team without Hunter and Bryant. Get them up there on a cold winter night and that's definitely a winnable game.
@ Nebraska we have zero shot. If the weather is nice, rake some leaves and clean the garage that day. Maybe wash the car, take the wife out, etc.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
I want the OSU game to start at 9 PM with an 80 mph wind and 6 feet of snow on the ground. A temperature around -20 sounds about right. Then ISU can slow their offense.
I think ISU will get one between Baylor and CU and pick up another one somewhere that they shouldn't. End the year at 5-7.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
Nebby isn't that great... if we play lights out i think we can win... i mean- i thought the KU game was a sure loss too, but we were only one play away

this.
if the offense plays like they did today we will have a shot at every game left on the schedule. we will still get to 6 or 7 wins.

Re: 'Winnable' games??
I'd rather order them by likelihood.
Most likely
Colorado
Baylor
Missouri
A&M
Oklahoma State
Nebraska
Least Likely
Maybe flip A&M and Missouri. I think we have a reasonable chance in every game except for Nebraska, but we'll only likely only win 1 or 2 more. I really don't think we'll go win-less in the Big XII this year.

I say we get 2 more somewhere. This was the big thing we did back in the mccarney days that drove me insane, not stomping the teams we should and then playing a ranked team to the wire.
It's weird to have it back, but at least our football team is competing and the chizik days are over, there will be a hangover but there was and still is some good optimism, it just sucks being 3-3 knowing you could easily be 5-1, at least 4-2. But on the other hand it's better than 2-4, 1-5, or 0-6 so I like progress. Keep following Rhoads to victory.
