be cautious about your optimism for this week

we are still a pretty bad team who hasn't figured out how to win. seems as though all on here are certain we will win this weekend. i would say we have an equal chance to lose the game. remember they MURDERED us last year. sure they had griffin, but how many points did our offense score before it was out of reach? 3.

im not trying to be a debbie downer here, but i fear this board will implode if we should happen to lose. fact of the matter is, these two team (until proven otherwise) are probably on level ground and the game could swing either way.

had griffin been in the game i fully would have expected a loss. without him i hope we can win. if not, it just solidifies the fact that we are indeed the worst team in the big 12.

i won't be jumping off a building should we happen to lose though. i am aware of that possibility.

Regardless of expectations going into the game this site will explode if we lose. Remember last week a majority of this board was just hoping that we could keep it close against KU and ARob should be sat because we had no shot at beating the Jayhawks. Then we played well and almost won that game and suddenly this board goes crazy and ****** off that we lost that game. The point is that no matter how much optimism is going around here this week, it all comes down to whether we win or not. I'm beginning to think that if we lost to Florida on a last second drive there would be some on this board that would be ******.

I agree for the most part. We got a good shot at winning OR losing this game. Art Briles is one heck of a good football coach. Maybe one of the best in the conference so I don't put anything past Baylor at this point. And I don't think I've seen a single person pick us to lose. Don't get me wrong cause I love the optimisim but I too hope we are not setting ourselves up here.

That said, I say ISU wins on Saturday.

Do we really need these "you the fans need to be grounded" before every game? I mean really. If someone wants to drink Cyclone kool-aid until they die of over hydration, more power to them. Geesh.

If the KU AA shows up we win this game but if the KSU AA shows up we probably lose this game. This is a big game and could go either way.

Being optimistic is what makes the games fun. I did the "I don't think we'll win, but hopefully it's a good game" routine the last two years and it is just too depressing. No more of that **** for me!

The light has come on for your qb. If you had your rb against KSU you would have had no trouble in that game. This game goes to ISU, Baylor won't be able to stop the run.
