Sedrick Johnson
Ok, I know we keep talking about this guy. But Through 7 games he has 3 catches for 5 yards! He is still listed as the starter, but never catches the ball. We have all been waiting for him to break out, but we havent seen it.
Don't give me the "well we have other guys who are stepping up" because, although the passing game has been going well lately, it is far from grade A. Josh Lenz has warrented more PT and catches than him- and is fine, but I think most of you agree with me...
I want every player on this team to succeed, so please see this post as a question, not me calling him out..

How often has AA thrown his way?
NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section. -
Re: Sedrick Johnson
Remember that he was injured at the start of the first game. All I'm going to say--I'm sure he'll break out at some point like everyone else has.

Re: Sedrick Johnson
Nebraska would be a nice day for a breakout game from Sed, but if not, A&M would be awesome considering all the drama that surrounded his signing and commitment.

Re: Sedrick Johnson
Is he even on the field that much? Even when ISU has five-wide there are usually two tight ends along with Darks, Williams, and Hamilton.

At this point, I'm guessing that Sedrick's best chance to contribute is in goal line situations as he does have good height and has shown that he can run an effective fade pattern. They did try to go to him in the Baylor game in a red zone situation.

I guess it's a combination of things that have held him down. I don't know if he will break out or not but I surely hope so. I kind of thought he could be our Dez Bryant. The big play guy. Hopefully we see something out of him this year and he can go to the offseason with a positive attitude and get himself ready for big year next year. I would think our offense will be very dynamic next year and I'm sure he wants to be a part of it.
