Do you really want to get into a debate about the number of players each school has to the pros recently?

Looks like ISU did put a half-dozen or so TEs into the NFL between 1971 and 2002, which I wasn't aware of. So I do stand corrected.

Re: All State of Iowa Team
I would go with 2 TE's and go with Mike Bush along with Clark

Chandler, Wheatley, & Titley saw a combined 4 games with no stats for their career.
Jackson, Jensen, and Titley aren't even listed as having played a minute in an NFL game.
Clark, Cook, & Hayes are really the only TEs of note in your list. Granted they are/were all very good with Dallas obviously the topping of the list soon barring injury.

Re: All State of Iowa Team
I was going to post my list based on my OPINION.
But clearly, this thread has become an opportunity just to argue with others that have a different opinion.
mostly by folks who didn't even offer up a list!
Each list is the personal opinion of the poster.
yours will vary.
doesn't make either opinion wrong.
because there are no wrong answers.
rather, there shouldn't be.

They probably wouldn't have even been drafted if it weren't for Iowa and they way the program utilizes the TE. Not Iowa's fault their NFL careers didn't pan out. Iowa put them in a position where they were drafted and had their shot. That was my original point, had Dallas Clark gone to ISU, a system not known for producing or utilizing TEs effectively, he may not have even been drafted. Then you got all huffy.

Re: All State of Iowa Team
I like a lot of the initial teams. I was just wondering, if we're going for NFL success do does Darren Sproles count since he is an Iowan, or is it just the Iowa teams were talking about?
No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference. ~Tommy Lasorda

Also UNI's ( or Iowas) benny sapp may have to be in the conversation if he keeps on progressing.
