James Smith suspended for Texas A&M game
He was kicked out of the Nebraska game. Per NCAA rules, he is suspended for Texas A&M as well.

Well, if we get Arob and AA back we'll still in better shape than today.

LJ didn't miss the next game last year. Did they change something?

Re: James Smith suspended for Texas A&M game
Did anybody else think it was a little harsh that he was kicked out? He got thrown to the ground by his facemask and jumped up and hit the guy in the facemask back...obviously a stupid decision but I don't know about ejecting him...

“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.” http://blogs.dmjuice.com/?cat=43 -
Re: James Smith suspended for Texas A&M game
NDSU's #1 RB in the FCS PAT PASCHALL got suspended 1 game for throwing a punch last week.
however our AD said "if Pat was ejected during the game, at least we would've had him back at halftime the next day"
soooooo Im assuming you're boy will be back in after halftime next week.

Re: James Smith suspended for Texas A&M game
DOnt you usually need 2 offenses to get kicked out? Like LJ last year against UNLV?

Harsh indeed.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers. -

What the hell did he do? That punch (if that's what it was for) didn't look that bad.

I think just doing the swinging motion like you are punching is enough, unfortunately.

Hard to say that the refs are trying to job ISU - if that's what you're saying.

I wouldnt necessarily say trying to job ISU... but being extra careful they dont make a bad call against nebraska. And i wouldnt say they all have been warranted... even the nu homer announcers said something like 'classic waste of time here'
