Don't lump all these idiot Hawks in with all of us! Wins are wins, that's all that matters in the end. Nice job, Clones!
Hopefully we get whatever it takes to win to go to 8-0, whether it be luck, a bad Sparty. WHO CARES.

I don't care if it is luck, skill, athleticism, whatever (and it is all three really), I'll take this win!

Game isn't over yet, but congrats on the win if you pull it out.....every ISU win helps Iowa's strength of schedule.
go win another game 6-4 like at penn st a few years back. ****head.

Not sure if it has been said...but luck would have been if Nebraska had WON even though they turned the ball over 8 times!

not saying i wouldn't either. to win this game without Arnaud and Robinson, causing 8 turnovers, i'd say some luck involved

Luck has nothing to do with it. This was hard work and determination.

Re: No more talk about Hawkeye luck....
I don't give a crap about "luck." These guys did what they needed to for the win, period! Without their starting QB and one of the top RB's in the nation, they did what they needed to do as a TEAM.
Seeing the emotion from CPR brought a tear to my eye as well...the man is emotional and a true coach...something we have lacked and very much needed back.
And by the way, thank you to the TRUE Hawk fan coming on here and offering their congrats and nice words...as a fan and alum I for one greatly appreciate that.

Any time you gain 3 takeaways in a game, your defense is doing something right. 8 is just incredible. It'll be exciting to see state when the offense is healthy again.

Just remember though that goes both ways.

Re: No more talk about Hawkeye luck....
Having calmed down slighty, and this talk of "Luck" I am going to enter this into the discussion. Luck is what you make of it. IMO, it's part of a discussion we had earlier in the season and we discussed "Learning to Win."Some people call it luck, and some call it doing what you have to do to win." We did that today. To say we are the luckiest team is still pretty far from the truth. We came in facing a lot of adversity. With our starting RB and QB out. This team knew what it had ot do to win. Cause turnovers. We took a big step today in learning to win.
