Christopher Lyle
I haven't seen anything on this board about Lyle but I personally thought he played one heck of a game. He was consistently forcing some pressure with a 4 man rush. He got held pretty bad there on a play at the end too but it didn't get called. Even with the hold he almost got the sack.
Just thought he deserved some extra props!

Re: Christopher Lyle
He is actuallyhaving a nice year. Can get pressure on the QB, and also plays the run well. He gets better every week, same as the team seems to be doing.

Re: Christopher Lyle
I didnt see or hear the actual game- but i be those turnovers (picks) were a direct or indirect result from the pass rush

Re: Christopher Lyle
I was waiting for his name to come up. Great game!! Can't think of a player who has had as many HUGE plays as he and doesn't get mentioned a whole lot.

Re: Christopher Lyle
Agreed. I think he may have had a strip that caused a fumble as well. Chris is having a standout season and is very underrated, imo.

Re: Christopher Lyle
If he wasn't held half the game he would have done more. It seemed like he kept getting better and better all game. I hope he continues this.

Re: Christopher Lyle
Yes he did. And Tiller also, a lot of people on this board had no faith in him, look what he just led us to, a victory at Nebraska. Come on, show the man some faith.

Re: Christopher Lyle
He is the only thing that resembles a pass rush for us. He gave a lot of pressure today.

I had faith in him but it was clear he wasn't going to make plays to score a bunch of points. The good thing is he didn't have to today and more importantly he didn't try. he showed a lot of maturity in taking what was given and not forcing. It could have been very easy for him to try and make things happen and make a couple mistakes.

From what I saw pregame, most people said the only difference between Arnaud and Tiller was experience. Heck, half the board has wanted him starting all along.
Making stuff up does you little credit.
We got a new Marshall here in town, and his name's Paul Rhoads, and the times, they is a'changin'.

Just thought he deserved some extra props! The fact that he is playing at the level that he is in his 1st year as a D1 starter is also the reason that he will turn some heads in an NFL camp next summer. He is good now, is getting better with still untapped potential, and has the skill set that will carry over to the next level.
