Re: Locker Room Celebration
Wow I could watch that for hours! Paul Rhoads is the man! Imagine what it must feel like to the players having someone who is genuinely proud and happy to coach them, and who don't have to worry about that person bolting!

I was pretty confident before CPR was the real deal.
After seeing that, no doubt at all.
Very, very proud day to be a Cyclone!

Re: Locker Room Celebration
I have watched it about 30 times now. There are so many awesome things in that video, but right now I am pumped about how the Sleazik castaways are completely embracing Coach Rhoads. Just watching LJ in the last 15 seconds shows how completely on board EVERY PLAYER is with Paul Rhoads.

Re: Locker Room Celebration
I have now watched that video 35 times, and I think the sweetest thing of all, is that KICKASS celebration took place in the locker room in Nebraska's stadium!!!!!

Sometimes I think coaches feign emotion. Definitely not Rhoads. Numerous times I have seen that guy almost lose it. It's as real as it gets, and its the kind that your players (friends, family, co-workers, etc.) really buy into - it creates fierce loyalty. Sometimes I think he's the most emotional guy on the field of 18 - 23 yr olds. He believes, the players seem to believe, and I'm believing.
Coach Rhoads: I am proud that you are the coach of my alma mater. Well Said!

i almost shed a tear, i am falling in love with our coach.... not the homosexually way either
I put my full faith and trust into CPR, he has complete grasp of this team and these boys know damn well what he expects and wants of them as well
I am on the CPR bandwagon for a long time now and i suggest many others get on it as well.....

Beating Neb in Nebraska is proof of 2 things
We are pretty good
Their program will never be elite again they are not going to come back
If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team. -

Re: Locker Room Celebration
I hope they do some editing to the entrance video before the next home game. I'm not sure there would be a more appropriate thing to step on to the field at Jack Trice Stadium than "I am SO PROUD TO BE YOUR COACH"

And ****, when Arnaud steps up and congratulates the defense? D-what? DEFENSE! Ditto that!!! The most emotional YouTube video I've ever seen, I feel like such a wuss....
I really think we need the student section to carry on those cheers for us during games, that would be awesome....also, put this on the video board for the next game.
