Jessie Smith, CPR, and ISU getting love on ESPNRadio..
One of the guys had Smith as his performer of the week. Mentioned his rise from walk-on to Captain. Said CPR is starting something big.

Yesterday on Colin COwherd he was comparing colege football coaches salaries with MLB manager salaries. He said that "The guy in Ames Iowa makes more than most MLB managers does". Cause MLB managers have less impact, I got a kick outta him just throwing out Ames for no reason.

Cowherd is a "big program" homer. It always gets my blood boiling when he gets on a lg market (pro)/ big program (college) rant. Other than that, its a pretty good show, and he's pretty entertaining.

Re: Jessie Smith, CPR, and ISU getting love on ESPNRadio..
I honestly think Colin Cowherd is the biggest dolt on ESPN Radio. I mean, after all, Boston was truly built for the playoffs, and I don't at all get tired of him complaining about how average Tony Romo is... Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Colin Cowhered makes the most sense out of anybody on the radio imo. Sees the true picture

Colin COwherd loves USC, but he is truely a Washington Fan. He is spot on on Tony Romo. What has he done? He has had a ton of talent around him and has yet to win a big game. He is average. IN my opinion, Colin Cowherd see the whole picture in sports better than anyone on the radio. He not only focus on the sports but the economics behind them. I disagree with a lot of things he said but that is his job. He induces thinking more than anyone on the radio.

I tried out his podcast for awhile and couldn't take it. He also thinks he's hilarious in a Michael Scott kind of way. No worries, ESPN has many more interesting people in the bullpen than him.

He compares everything in sports to big business or a divorce. 50% of the time it applies and 50% it's complete nonsense. I find him entertaining and he has a good sense of humor but he says some stuff that is flat-out stupid and then will argue with anybody about it.
"Missouri is free to create an enduring basketball rivalry with Auburn."
