This is beyond a win

This is a huge win by the Cyclones. Not just on the field.

1- Big boost with recruiting. This should help.
2- This team shows a lot of hope.
3- Paul Rhoads proves he is the man for the job.
4- This proves that our offensive line is for real, I think they handled Suh quite well. The tackles he made were when he would drop back on a run, not in the back field.

This game showed what we are capable of, and I hope it carries into next weekend.

god i keep watching that post game locker video on you tube, that should be a recruiting tool with the passion CPR showed, that would draw kids in alone, you gotta love how the team loves the coach. Unreal job CPR is doing

As of right now, this is Pollard's best hire. (As of now, McDermott has talent this year, so we should be pretty good this year.)

I was just thinking this too -- the "bad" streaks Rhoads and crew have destroyed this season. Just last week, I was talking about how beating Baylor meant the first time ISU won one of their first three Big 12 conference games since 2002. This week, ISU wins their first Big 12 game on the road since Texas A&M in 2005 (and in Lincoln to boot!)... it's almost too much.

Before you know it, we'll be cheering on the team in the Holiday Bowl as they put a cap on one of the biggest program turnarounds in years!*

(*Maybe not quite yet, but a guy can dream!)

I don't know if anyone else caught this at the end of the game but it kinda sounded like coach was dissapointed that they only won by 2 with all of the turnovers they got. I love that about rhodes he isnt satisfied with the biggest win in years for the program. i cant wait to see what is in store.

I believe CPR's comments after the game was stating that we played against a heck of a football team. He was saying that even w/ 8 turnovers that we still only won by two.

Obviously he will go to work making sure that we score more points off of those turnovers, but he was giving credit to NU. This is smart, because he is putting more value to our win!
