    Very good recap. I hadn't even thought about the parallels to 1992. You just have one minor typo. The TD pass made it 9-7 (not 9-3).

    I don't think it was as dramatic as that win. We've played nu close the last couple of trips, and have won two of the last four against them in Ames. Plus, Marv Seiler was a walk-on, and Tiller was a highly recruited scholarship QB. Both games, however, were highly unexpected wins, and therefore a couple of the better wins I can remember...

    This team would absolutely crush Seiler's team in terms of overall talent, and Nebraska isn't even close to what they were then. Not discounting the win yesterday, because yesterday's win actually means something, whereas Seiler's did not (in the grand scheme of things).
