Why isn't Cy in the mascot challenge? And we got DQed from tailgaiting?

I heard that ESPN DQ'd us from the compition, is that true? And what's up with Cy not being in the Mascot Challenge by Capital One??

1. Yes, we got DQ'd.
2. We don't bank with Capital One so we didn't try to get in the competition.

why did we get dq'd?

Because they found out we were voting 10393472 times/minute. We weren't the only ones doing it, but we were the best at it.

We voted in such large numbers (in the millions) and almost all of those votes were for Iowa State. Every other match up was pretty even and it was determined that we 'rigged' the thing.

They apparently dont realize the seriousness we take with online voting.

For being too awesome. We voted the living daylights out of the thing and slaughtered our opponents. Despite the fact that ESPN had literally zero rules posted, and you were allowed to vote as many times as you wanted, they decided that we'd broken the rules and voted too much, so they DQ'd us.

From what I can tell, the wheels just came off the whole poll and they quietly buried it.

Actually the next round started after ISU was DQ'd and we decided to show how much they had thought this poll through and started voting en mass for certain teams and completely derailed the poll :wink:

What did they expect? We invented the computer, I would think we would know how to use it!
