Re: Weekly Bo Thread
We saw Saturday, what happens to players who can't hold on to footballs. When that isn't the main excuse for why we aren't seeing him on the field, then I'm all for seeing him play. I'll take a few positive yards every play to great bursts that end in fumbles any day.

They're saving him for the Bowl game. -

Had they scored a touchdown or two I wouldhave guessed the offense would have opened up a bit and maybe threw in a different running back or two. The excuse machine is chuggin'!
We were behind the entire time against Iowa - no Bo. We were behind at times against KSU (and without ARob) - no Bo. We were getting very little offensive production against NU - no Bo.
We had the game locked up late against NDSU, Kent State and Baylor - no Bo.
What does it take to get it through some of your heads? This guy is not as good as those in front of him, period. He has not played a single snap through 8 games, some of which our top back was injured/DNP. Unless something drasticly changes, the #4 running back on our depth chart, which is Bo Williams, will not be a factor this season.
Our back-up, back-up, back-up running back gets more play here than Larry Eustachy did at sorority parties.

You guys keep firing that back at those stating Bo is not good enough to play ahead of others, as if it's supposed to mean something.
Guess what - the coaching staff is making the decisions and oddly enough, it lines up exactly with what some of us are saying.
But, you're the expert - my bad.
Coach Rhoads, quit holding Bo down and get him in the game!

Re: Weekly Bo Thread
Bo holds up against Schwartz and Blankenship fine from a running with the ball standpoint, but there is a night and day difference between him and those two in blocking and that is costing him right now.

Re: Weekly Bo Thread
Did anyone else think that we would have seen a little bit of Beau, theau? I am a big fan of the change-of-pace back, and it seems like Beau would compliment Shwartz' style. However, I think the offense was going for one pace on Saturday and that was "DON'T LOSE" conservative.
Maybe Beau wasn't healthy and I missed that.

I'm curious, why do YOU think he hasn't played a down?

Re: Weekly Bo Thread
Fact:
Bo Williams can't hold onto the football because he's too busy stiff-arming girl scouts through brick walls.

Maybe Beau wasn't healthy and I missed that. Beau is hurt right now. He was supposedly going to see playing time last week against Baylor but was hurt. I can't recall if he got hurt that week in practice or in game warm-ups.
