I was torn on him Saturday. In one sense I felt like our running game needed a boost Saturday but in another sense I didn't feel comfortable throwing Bo out there in that type of game for his first action. Schwartz wasn't playing great but at least he wasn't turning the ball over or anything. A fumble out of the RB position would have been deadly.
Somewhere along the lines we need to get that young man on the field. Especially when A-Rob isn't healthy.
I truly think Bo Williams will be an important part of ISU football in the future. And I think it will happen yet this season into next.
Honestly what makes you feel this way, other than internet hype? There are three guys ahead of him on the depth chart for what I assume to be a reason.

Because Tim Griffin spent all summer trying to downgrade A-Rob for Bo Williams.
I doubt we see him in real minutes this season. I think we would have seen him Saturday had our offense ever went on a drive in which JS needed a breather.
What more do you expect out of a freshman power back against the best d-line in college football? Schwartz did fine, all things considered, and I think we see Blankenship on saturday, even if A-Rob is healthier. It was all about security and protection this weekend.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.
This past saturday the way the game was playing out I had major doubts he would play. If we were falling behind and we needed something maybe explosive then I thought maybe we would see someone else. But we were never really behind. SO it made sense to stick with what we were doing. Had they scored a touchdown or two I wouldhave guessed the offense would have opened up a bit and maybe threw in a different running back or two.
