    Nickel/Dime

Who will be starting at the Nickel and some dime packages?

    Benton- outtie
    Bell- Gone
    McD- Gone
    MConnel- at Saftey

Reeves would be my guess, but do we want a 5 7' 150lber blitz'n?

If we play Dime, who else is in, or who else can spell the starters?

In a formerly deep Secondary, can someone give us a quick lowdown on who we might be seeing and a few comments about them.

    Thanks.

I would say Sandvig then O'Connell after James Smith comes back in the 2nd half. I'd almost rather see Smith in at the "Nickel" spot cause he is much better against the run than the pass. O'Connell did made a couple plays after Smith left that I dont think James could have made.

Sandvig seems to be playing with more confidence, so I wouldn't mind seeing him get another try. I like the speed of Reeves. I think speed is more important than size. Plus Reeves has played, it would be nice to save Watson's RS.

I think this is the time to play our best, redshirt or not. This program can't wait for a shot in the arm. If Watson is the best we can put out there, I'd play him.

    Re: Nickel/Dime

You should really know more details before calling McDowell and Bell "dumb"

there could have been a lot more reasons for them leaving than not getting playing time...

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

    Re: Nickel/Dime

Sandvig sure makes plays when he gets the chance. He seems like the kind of kid who will make up the difference in sheer effort.
