Re: blankenship status
He played on special teams. Would have liked to see him carry the rock once or twice last week, just to see if he would be a little quicker through the "holes".

Re: blankenship status
Some believe he played on special teams against Nebraska but others are noting it was an error by the announcers.

Imagine that, the announcers got only one thing wrong Saturday -

Maybe we could have convinced the refs that it was Sedrick Johnson that threw that punch so James wouldn't have been ejected.

The player James Smith punched leveled him with a cheap shot. James got up and punched the guy and that's what the ref saw. The guy he punched bumped fists with him afterwards and appeared to apologize. Not saying what James Smith did was right but I'm suprised more hasn't been said about it.

Re: blankenship status
In defense of James Smith, the NE player should have been called for the initial stupid play. James then just retaliated a little bit, the initial push over looked worse.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: blankenship status
I think the un player hit Smith before the whistle, Smith's hit was after the whistle and to the helmet. Should have been 15, but not an ejection, IMO.

From what I could tell, Smith hit him with an open hand to the head. The only reason that wasn't a closed fist was because the other guy was wearing a helmet.

Jake Williams or some other white guy made a catch and referred to him as Marquis Hamilton - didn't even recognize the color of the players skin (and no they weren't wearing long sleeves).
They talked about Nate Frere and showed a picture of Alex Alvarez or something.
I think there were others, but talk about not taking any time to even watch film or at least get familiar with the starters!!!
