Fact-of-the-matter is that there may be more than 8 bowl eligible Big XII teams which will most likely leave one or more 6-6 teams out in the cold or in K-State's case 7-5 as they need to get to 7 wins to be bowl eligible. [K-State can only count one of their wins over FCS (Formerly Div 1-AA) schools.]

I don't know, Iv'e watched Mizzu three times this year and they look bigger, faster and stronger than ISU. We shall see but it will be a tough game for ISU for sure.

Personally, I think if Mizzou gets past CU this weekend they will run the table and win the North. Their toughest games are behind them. Remaining schedule is @CU, Baylor, @K-State, ISU, KU @ Arrowhead.

Mizzou is still a very talented team. I would be shocked to come out of Columbia with a win. Maybe we can force 9 turnovers?

We control our own destiny. We have four winable games coming up. OSU may be less winable but who knows. Last week showed me we are capable of great things.

It just seems ISU has believers (SI.com ranking us #28) and non-believers (Rivals.com saying we won't make a bowl). Hopefully we can make believers out of everyone.

There are a lot of if's that go into this but here are my thoughts.

IF the defense can play like they did saturday when an injured offense forced them to be the factor, we can play with any of our remaining opponents. IF the offense plays the way it can with a healthy A-Rob and a relaxed/healthy Arnaud then we SHOULD beat at least A&M and Colorado. A nationally ranked Oklahoma State at the Jack and Missouri at their place seem daunting. But let's not forget what this team did in the face of extreme adversity, when all the cards were stacked against them and a 16th straight defeat in Memorial Stadium loomed. IF that same heart and will is with us also, we COULD win every damn one!!

That is an exciting prospect and as fans that have endured our fair share of pain lately we should all just enjoy being in a position to potentially go to a bowl game.

I dont like the fact that the Rose Bowl will be a PURE home game for USC...that needs to change...make sure USC is not allowed to play in the Rose Bowl

I noticed that they pick the Minnesota Gophers for a bowl game. Minnesota is now 4-4 with games remaining against MSU, Illini, So. Dak. St., and Iowa. Minnesota actually could lose them all now that Decker is done for the year.

It all comes down to Sat. Rivals has A&M going and not ISU. We control our own destiny, and at this point, that is all we can ask for. This is the biggest game of CPRs career so far.
