Michigan State transfer?
"Anderson could make the move to Iowa State, a team that really wanted him early on in his commitment, others speculate he could end up at Northern Illinois."
He's a running back that played mostly on special teams and is a sophomore. I don't know if their speculation is valid or not as he would have been previously talking with Chizik's staff. Scout.com: RBs Anderson, Ray Leave MSU Football

Re: MSU transfer?
It's official -- he's gone from the MSU football roster.
Hopefully he is staying in school until the end of the semester so he will be academically eligible if he ends up at ISU. Michigan State Spartans running backs Caulton Ray, Andre Anderson off active roster - ESPN Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good. Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better. Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step. My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all. -
Re: MSU transfer?
So if he is leaving Michigan State and possibly coming to ISU, I suppose we should expect him to finish up at South Florida. -

Re: MSU transfer?
He went to a high school in my conference and I don't remember much about him from football other than he tore up our defense, but then again so did every other team we played. He was a really good track athlete in the 100 and long jump.

Re: MSU transfer?
Nice find. Does he have to sit if he goes to NI?

I still am not sure if the reporter is guessing he's interested in ISU or if there's more to it.

Re: MSU transfer?
Oh ya, I remember Anderson. He would be a good get as he could come right in and replace ARob once he graduates.
