Colorado Game
Any word on the time yet. I'm assuming it will not be on TV, but didn't see anything for sure yet.

Re: Colorado Game
Again...Don't care how bad we are, there is no excuse for this crap.
The last time Iowa hasn't been on TV was about 10 years ago and it due to some weird reason.
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum.... -
Re: Colorado Game
Gametime is set for 1pm according to the register. No TV. For this game, can't say I blame them...but fans deserve the right to see their team regardless.

Re: Colorado Game
The excuse for this "crap" is that both teams are not worth spending money on in this less than flourishing economy. Putting games on tv is not free cost of moving equipment, setting up equipment, testing it, having commentary...this all costs money. Then of course when this does happen and it does get on tv, we get people ******** about the horrible commentary and the lack of quality of video. Then we also get people complaining because JTS isn't full because people can't sit in the cold and watch so the watch on tv.
So how about you come to the game, pack JTS for the seniors final game and be proactive to this new movement of righting the ship. I understand that some people cannot physically make it, but I get a bit skeptical when I meet so many Cyclone fans who have traveled all the way to College Station, Texas or Kansas City or Boulder last year.
GO TO THE GAME

GO TO THE GAME in a perfect world everyone i would guess love to go to the game, however some people live 8-10+ hours away and can not drive to every game because of things called "jobs" - yes some people are lucky enough to still have one. For those who have jobs and can't come to the game would love to watch their team play still.
Plus it would be easier to sell a recruit in Florida that his family can still watch him if he comes to Ames, than tell his family to get the internet and hope they can get an over the web radio feed.

In a perfect world, every college game would be on TV. This costs too much money and is not feasible. It would be a lot easier to sell a recruit on a successful program which would lead to tv slots.
For those calling it "inexcusable" that every game is not on tv or internet, you are living in a dream world. However, I would say that it is inexcusable for all games to not be on some form of internet radio.

Re: Colorado Game
I question one thing if every game can't be on TV then how can there be TV replay reviews?
