Next year CPR completely turns around the program. ISU beats the Hawks by one point in the second game of the season. Both teams win out.

Is it possible they could play against each other in the national championship?
What would the media and fans of other schools do?

If it was some how 1 ISU 2 Iowa in the BCS going into the final week a 1 loss USC or SEC team would gaurentee jump Iowa in the standings.

That scenario probably happens in 2012, as I was watching something that has the end of civilization happening that year.

That would be our luck as it is December of 2012 is the supposed end of civilization. Before the bowl game.

How about we up the ante a little.....

Ferentz wins coach of the year this year and takes an NFL job. Chizik gets fired from Auburn, and Iowa decides to hire him. Then, we face a Chizik-coahed Iowa in the NC game.

Actually, the most unbelievable part of this story is Chizik coaching a team to the NC game.

Sounds perfectly plausible to me. Elvis is hired as assistant coach, Marilyn Monroe is head cheerleader, and the Easter Bunny is named Strength and Conditioning coach.
