Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
Trey Bradley, of bleacherreport.com, lists Iowa's Ricki Stanzi as the worst starting quarterback in the country who plays on a winning team, and lists Austin Arnaud as the 11th worst in the country.
This is a very interesting read. Greg McElroy of Alabama is rated as the second worst "winning quarterback" and Terrelle Pryor of Ohio State is third.

Funny find and What a dumb thing for them to even come up with.... man there are a lot of haters

Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
Agreed, I'm getting real tired of these "worst" lists or most overated lists.

Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
If Arnaud wasn't on there you guys would be fine with it because it has Stanzi as the worst.

Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
Actually the article made Stanzi look good.
They said he was the best 4th Quarter QB in the college football because he has to make up for his first 3 quarters lol
If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team. -
Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
Neither AA or Stanzi belong on that list. AA has decent numbers for only really playing in about 6 games and Stanzi has gotten the job done. His team is 9-0 afterall.

Much rather be worst of the winners than the best of the losers.

Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
Surprise surprise. Iowa's defense has been wining games for them all year.
Stanzi's not a bad quarterback, but you' don't have to look far to find better ones.
To Iowa's credit they know that and use him wisely.
That last drive he had at MSU was pretty awesome. Last weeks 4th quarter wasn't too bad either...

To Iowa's credit they know that and use him wisely. A Hawkeye friend of mine said it best about Stanzi, "He's like Trent Dilfer the year the Ravens won the Super Bowl."
"Bring it all to the table. Don't hold nothin' back," he said. "I want you. I want the ball. I want your head. I throw my body into 'em and hit them." - #23 Leonard Johnson -

Am I the only one who can not stand Bleacher Report?

Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
Stanzi is Rex Grossman or Trent Dilfer. His team wins in spite of him....not because of him

Re: Stanzi rated worst "winning QB," Arnaud rated 11th worst
I thought the article was actually pretty complimentary to Arnaud. It acknowledge he's been playing well just before the injury and that he's a more than competent running threat.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. -

I also can't give him much credit for that 4th quarter. He threw exactly 3 passes, all three were to pretty wide open recievers.
Iowa's D is the real deal, but Stanzi is not.

That last drive he had at MSU was pretty awesome. Last weeks 4th quarter wasn't too bad either... The fourth quarter was a function of lousy defense vs anything Stanzi did easy, high percentage passes to wide open receivers and the receivers did the rest of the work. Wegher and the OL did the work on the other two scoring drives. good job by KOK to take the ball out of Stanzi's hands
