Josh Lenz
I really think this kid is going to be something special for us. He has done a very good job for us on special teams and makes plays in the open field. The guy can just break tackes, has pretty good speed in the open field and flat out has a knack for making a big play. I say he is one of the most pleasant surprises of the entire season.

Re: Josh Lenz
He hits the hole with speed instead of hesitating. Absolutely excellent quality to have in your returners.

Re: Josh Lenz
I agree entirely. He just seems to have such a natural flow to him. He sees the field extremely well, and he is shifty enough to get the extra yards. He seems like a perfect fit for our short passing game.

Re: Josh Lenz
I really like this kid as well. Great hands, good speed, has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Hats' off to Gene Chizik on getting him.

Re: Josh Lenz
Reminds me of Blythe
Edit: Yes because hes white and Iowan, and i ment by his look. He is a much different reciever.

Re: Josh Lenz
After four years of ineptitude, we finally have a punt returner. Thank God.

Lenz is nearly the complete opposite of Blythe.

Re: Josh Lenz
Is he our best WR? Slight edge to Marquis maybe, but Lenz is a True Freshman...

Re: Josh Lenz
No doubt a little pre-mature but his good hands, quick fluid moves, and great instincts remind me of Lance Alworth, also # 19. Josh is way too young to have seen him play except on film, but I wonder if he picked that number because of the great Lance Alworth.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. -
Re: Josh Lenz
Reminds me more of Flynn than Blythe. Either is not a bad comparison for a two star recruit out of Iowa, great pick up.

Re: Josh Lenz
reminds me more of Whitver only faster & more versatile. If he stays healthy, he will have a great career.

Re: Josh Lenz
He reminds me of Ryan Baum. Ryan was a good return man, and may not be the elite receiver, but was a solid receiver that always made plays.

With out the botched punt returns.
