Revkah and I wondered this during the senior introductions:

Are we right that none of our current players have played in a bowl game at Iowa State?

CPR is taking these guys over a huge hurdle right there.

The RS Seniors would have been here for the Texas Bowl but since they were red shirting, they weren't playing in the game.

I feel like I should post that Picard facepalm thing about my own post.

But back on track, this is huge for these guys. Even though the last few years went terribly, they will most likely have the chance to end their Cyclone career in a bowl game, with memories that last forever. That's awesome, regardless of my posting fail.

There was actually a nice article about this very subject in the DMR today. Not that anyone reads the DMR unless they are cleaning out Cy's cage in Beardsear.
