Hitting them coming off the bus!
Man I saw some great hits at the game yesterday. Simms, Smith, Smith and crew have taken Paul Rhoads quote to heart. Kenard Banks had that one stupid penalty but other then that played a nice game. That break up of the pass he had against the Colorado tight end in the end zone was huge.
That hit in the end zone where the Colorado player caught the ball and got popped and dropped it was huge. I really thought he had possesion. He tried puking a couple times walking off the field.

He didn't just try to puke, he did at least four times and he didn't get off the field. Good thing his stomach must have been almost empty. he really took a hit.

I will admit to complaining about Banks' play this year as he got picked on by opposing offenses or made dumb penalties. However, Kennard played a GREAT game yesterday and was one of the main reasons we won. Yesterday was definitely his best game as a Clone and I hope his good play can continue the next 2 games!

Yes, he just needs to clean up his penalties. There is no call for that.

Agreed, Banks probably played the best game as a Cyclone yesterday untill that one play...and he knew it as soon as it happened.

I agree. Banks played an outstanding game yesterday, minus the stupid late hit on a third and long that kept a CU drive going.

A little later I walked behind their bench and he was sprawled out on his back and didn't look good. I didn't notice if he came back but hope he is ok. -
Re: Hitting them coming off the bus!
Will Banks be covering the Mizzou super 6-5 receiver this next weekend?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I wondered if he got his feet down before the ball came out. Had to have been pretty close.

Re: Hitting them coming off the bus!
Didn't Banks have a false start penalty against him on a good punt by Brandtner out of our end zone that was followed by a re-punt about 20 yards shorter?

Re: Hitting them coming off the bus!
Banks has 1 dumb penalty a game. Has anyone noticed how they did not throw at Lenarnd hardly at all. Then I saw #5 Reeves was in for him a little at the end of the game were they just getting Reeves reps? or is LJ banged up?

My guess would be just getting Reeves reps - after Hansen threw to the right 2 or 3 times for decent gains, LJ came back in.
