Coach Rhoads First Year

1. More wins as a first year coach than any other previous ISU Football coach.
2. More wins in his first year then the previous worthless coach had in his two years at ISU.
3. Taking us to a bowl game in his first year. Has any other coach done that at ISU?
4. First time our defense has held 3 league opponents to 10 points or fewer since 1965.
5. Won at Nebraska for the first time since 1977.
6. Has taken a rag tag team from the gutter to going to bowl in his first year.

Yes it's early, but I think we have got a winner on our hands!

no but we are dangerously close. win and we are in. lose, and we need nebby to beat ksu, and kansas to lose to texas and mizzou to finish out.

I think that what he and Wally have done with our defense ought to cinch the coach of the year thing. That job is amazing!

#3 isn't a done deal yet....but I still think that some of the JP haters need to come out of the woodwork to eat some crow. Monty, where are you?

It should read 10 points OR under and then it would be CU, Nebraska, and Baylor.

Yeah stranger things have happened and a lot of things have to work against us for us not to go to a bowl, but I'll conceed nothings guaranteed at this point.

Can't we be invited to a bowl game outside of the Big 12 bowl package, that is, we don't necessarily have to rely on the Big 12 bowl alignments?

I thought that's what the radio guys were saying yesterday, that there are other conferences that won't be able to provide teams per their agreements with bowl committees, thus opening the door to us perhaps.

Maybe I misunderstand what the radio fellows were saying. . . .
