He has one heck of an arm. He lit up Ames this year on the deep ball. Of course it did not help that Ames had a strong safety that seemed to run approximately a 5.3 40 and earned the nickname butter. Butter not because he was smooth, but because he was TOAST so often.
Creekmur is a good basketball player though, good enough I am surprised he is not going that route.
I heard Ash & Pope were up at the dome watching him and a few other players on Friday.

Agreed. Veir is not a quarterback. He will play TE or DE. I wish Iowa State would have looked at him for DE. Creekmur is purely a QB. You can watch M-town highlights on the Rag's website. Pretty impressive player.Quote:

My only problems with him are that he's a hawk fan and he's already shown he has no problem decommitting. If we sign him and then the hawks come calling, he's gone.
He has been running the "spread" at least since he was in 9th grade. He is very smart, extremely confident, and talented. I say confident, not cocky in a jerk sort of way like a few M-town qb's of old.
