    Re: Mizzou starting WR out

Is Gabbert now healthy? The last time I saw them on tv a few weeks ago he was still limping some from the Nebraska game early in the season. Sounds like he's getting it together at qb, of course just in time for our game.

I posted this in another thread...

At the risk of sounding like a stalker I saw Benton with Rhoads at Hickory Park yesterday and he seemed to be walking well. I don't know if that means he can play, it just means that he is moving around a lot better than I would have expected for a guy with some sort of fracture.

#81 for Mizzou is the stud. He might put up Dez Bryant day on us.

true, he is good, but with the other productive starter out, it may allow us to cheat over a bit on Alexander.

Our safeties need to clobber him right off the bat to give him something to think about. They really had some nice hits in the CU game.

That 6-5 WR is averaging 207 yards a game in receiving yards (the last two weeks). He is a total mismatch for us.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

    Re: Mizzou starting WR out

LJ, Sims, Smith, Banks all gonna need to have smart, physical days saturday. We were allowed to creep up most of the game on Colorado, we won't be able to against Mizzou, they can spread the ball vertically. don't know much about their run game tho. I'd love to see us stop that all together so we make them one dimensional from the get go like CU. Although, if we don't tackle Gabbert, we could be in for a tough game. Leaving CU's QB all day to throw and leaving MU's QB all day to throw are two different things.

I heard he put a picture of Kennard Banks on his wall and just sits and laughs at it all day.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Grabert had no limp at all for the KSU game last Saturday. Looked pretty healthy.

I guess Dez doesn't have much else to do these days.

    Re: Mizzou starting WR out

I just hope we are able to shut down a passing attack for once. It just seems that any team can complete 70%+ percent of their passes on us very easily. This is even more obvious in Big12 play. No surprise the games we win are < 70%
    K-State 16-23 = 70%
    Kansas 37-49 = 75%
    Baylor 23-38 = 61%
    Nebraska 20-37 = 54 %
    Texas A&M 23-28 = 82%
    Ok State 19-24 = 79%
    Colorado 18-38 = 47%

I due fear the Mizzou passing attack will out match us.

    Re: Mizzou starting WR out

Mizzou is going to be one of our toughest games of the year.

Gotta do what we've been doing, forcing turnovers.
