Re: Bus Trip to Missouri Football & Volleyball
I definitely think a friend and I will be doing this instead of driving. I don't have anybody to stay with in Columbia, and 10 hours of driving plus 7 hours of sporting events might be more than I should put on myself, especially since I'm going up to Cedar Falls on Friday night to watch the 4A football championship. Sleeping on the bus, it is!
Anybody know where the tickets through this package will be for the FB game?
True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

The Gridiron Club has put together a very nice deal. It's nice that they've included the volleyball game, too. Sounds like a fun time. Thanks for posting the details.

Re: Bus Trip to Missouri Football & Volleyball
The bus trip is still available. In fact at this point, more people are needed to make it "a go". If you are even remotely thinking about it, please email Mike Lacey at mflacey@hughes.net to let him know. Mike will gladly answer any questions you have. On a selfish note, if you decide to go please vote to stay down for the volleyball game as well. If we're on a bus for 10 hours roundtrip (partying), what's another 90 minutes or so to watch our women demolish the Tigers. Plus the arena will be warm and have nice restrooms. By the way, projected high in Columbia is 54 and partly cloudy. Let's go make our voices heard and come back with a 7th win!
