Uhhhh, it taught them the pain of losing, and thus inspired them to work harder for victories?

I'm really reaching as far as I can go for that one.

I think someone posted that out of the 22 starters, 7 were recruited by Chizik.

I really hope that they do give it to CPR, and he rightfully deserves it because of what he has done with what he has had, but my gut feeling is that they will give it to Mack Brown...

Simply because they are Texas.... Yuck

I posted a breakdown of the 22 starters a few weeks ago, but can't find it anymore. I think it's something like 15 McCarney players, 6 Chizik players and 1 Rhoads players. It's basically the same team as last year except for David Sims (who has made a huge difference).

None of Chizik's redshirt freshmen from last year are starting or even seeing much action this year; however, I am expecting to see a lot more from them next year.... particularly Laing, Maggitt and McDonough on the defensive line.

    Re: Rhoads the best

Considering all of the streaks that Paul has overcome, I think he has done the better job. I do think he needs the seventh win and a Bowl game to get COY though.

Too often we hold fast to the clichés of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought."

    Re: Rhoads the best

I saw in a article not too long ago, Rhoads making statements that he was "so thankful that Pollard gave him a chance". This is so different from the last coach we had who thought he was entitled.

May my postings be polite and not misunderstood. (And hopefully funny on occasion.)
