Chances of Bowl Game now??

Independence Bowl would be excellent at this point. We all want Insight of course, but A LOT of things need to happen for that now.

If KU can beat UT and MU they deserve a bowl. If KSU beats NU in Lincoln they also deserve a bowl. MU deserves a bowl, even if they have underachieved this year. However, KU is not going to win tonight and next week. NO bowl I am not sure about KSU, they are very up and down. But Lincoln is tough, NO bowl. Enter ISU. Lets go bowling with MU and NU. Who would have guessed that before the season started?

I think we will have a slight chance at making it to the Insight Bowl if OSU gets into a BCS Bowl.

I think it is pretty simple and the over-reaction of some and worrying about no bowl game is laughable.

A Nebraska Win, and OSU win =
Texas - Championship
Oky State - Fiesta
Nebraska - Cotton
Texas Tech - Holiday
Missou - Alamo
Oklahoma - Sun
ISU or A&M - Insight
ISU or A&M - Independence

Enough with the explanation. A Nebraska win tonight puts us at worst a TExas or Independence bowl asKU will not go ahead of us with what is going on their, plus I just do not see them beating Missouri. What we then have is a better chance at the insight then no bowl at all in my opinion.

Because some people have been ISU fans for 30+ years, and know that nothing's final until it's final -- no matter how good the odds appear in ISU's favor.

Then you should be worried. TV ratings are out the window this year due to the fact that advertisement is sold a year in advance and FOX isn't doing the game next year (the fiesta). Its all about butts in the seats and OSU can't even fill their own stadium.

I think Penn State will be the team in the fiesta. Bowl reps could care less about conference alignments. Just ask the Orange bowl people.

Nothing wrong with either spot. Bowl games are kind of like pizzza...it's all good, it's just that some are better than others. Good luck!
