Probably get one. Hopefully we won't play a team like Arkansas that crushes us. I would rather play someone on our level. Probably Shreveport. They love us down there.

K-State should lose to Nebby and KU could beat Mizzou next week but it's not likely. That means 8 bowl eligible teams in all the 8 Big 12 slots. Even if there are 9 bowl eligible teams another bowl that picks from a different conference should pick us up.

For our best chance, we need the following teams to lose out:
aTm (5 wins)
K-State (5 eligible wins)
KU (5 wins)
and Baylor (4 wins) to beat aTm today, then lose to Tech next week.
EDIT: Also, we want Okie State to beat OU next week
Be interesting to see who the bowls pick if Okie St. isn't in the BCS and OU loses to OSU next week
At this point, I think we get picked ahead of KU no matter what. What bowl game wants to take KU right now with all their problems? I doubt many KU fans would travel to support Mangino at this point?
ISU will go to a bowl game. It is about a million to one chance that they won't. KSU will have to beat Nebraska, Kansas will have to win it's last two including against Texas.
The clincher will be if Baylor wins (which at this point would be next to impossible) out and Texas loses out. That would make all south teams eligible.
It would take a lot to happen to not go to a bowl game. K State to beat Nebraska, Kansas to win out, etc... The amazing thing about the whole scenario is a win today could easily have vaulted us into the Alamo since Oklahoma got whooped today. I am guessing you can lock us into SHreveport or Houston with a Nebraska win tonight. If OSU makes the BCS Insight could still be possible. To make it easy, cheer for Nebraska as much as you may hate doing it, and get ready for a bowl game.
100%, I am thinking Texas or Shreveport, would have loved Insight.
