Only thing is, Independence is before the Texas in the pecking order, so Texas would be unfilled, not Independence.

The Independence Bowl gets the 7th pick, otherwise makes sense to me. It would not surprise me to see the Insight bowl take aTm over us.

It would be pretty sweet and I'm sure very special to Coach to have his first bowl be the Insight, since he was there for Iowa State's last visit.

Fiesta and Big 12 are partners. Until someone else (Jones/Cotton) makes a better offer.

The Fiesta without a BCS conference partnership is the Holiday.
