I took my nephew to the ISU vs North Dakota State game this year. When I just arrived home for Xmas I seen a picture that my nephew had drawn that had my old high school number and Josh Lenz written on the back of the jersey. Do you think I should ask Josh if he would sign a football for my nephew for Christmas present, or should I leave it alone. I think that it would be a good idea and would surprise him.

Funny question for a message board - but I think you should go for it. I would bet Lenz wouldn't mind and obviously your nephew would be thrilled to receive it.
It probably would be easy this year seeing the team will be practicing all december. should be able to get a pretty quick turn around if you explain the situation (i.e. you aren't just looking to make a buck)

I work with a relative of his and could help facilitate this - just PM me.
With all the guys on this team I think Josh Lenz would be suprised that he was the one you wanted to sign something. Since he is just a freshman. So my guess is that he would do it.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
I was really surprised as well that he even knew who Josh was. I don't know how much Josh played in the NDSU game. I actually thought it was cool that he drew the picture and put his name on it. If I can get a picture of the drawing I will put it on here.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

I remember when I was much younger, my neighbor's brother was on the football team so we sent a ball up for him to sign and maybe a couple other guys. It came back filled with signatures from the whole team including Troy Davis and Danny Mac - still have it and still love it
Josh would do it in a minute. My son AJ lives with Josh he's a great kid. He's got a little brother that gets things signed all the time from the team. All the guys are good with that kind of stuff. Good luck!
Josh has signed a football for my nephew. He was a very, very nice individual and was very grateful for my nephew to pick him out of anyone on the team. We shared some stories and I told him good luck in the game.
I will give an update on how my nephew likes it.
