Remembering a fallen Cyclone...
I just wanted to point out that exactly a year ago from today, former Cyclone running back Stevie Hicks passed away. ISU Mourns Death of Stevie Hicks - Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - The home of Iowa State Cyclone Sports
What a sad deal. I had the opportunity to get to know Stevie during his time in Ames. I feel for his family to this day.

He died only about 3 blocks from where I'm living right now, here in Omaha. Strange.

I work in Council Bluffs and Carter Lake from time to time, and think of him every time I drive over that bridge. Hate to see anybody sink so low, especially such a reportedly good guy. I hope he has found his peace...

It was right after Alex Henry made that kick and Nebraska beat Colorado in football. That memory is what triggered this initial post.

He was full of promise, unfortunately his career was hampered by injuries.
Rest In Peace, Stevie !

Was there any more information given out on the details of his death? The article really doesn't say much about it.
I always enjoyed cheering for him.
