Organized Trip to Shreveport

Its looking like Shreveport...does anyone think ISU will put together a package for either bus trip and hotel stay or just hotel stay or anything? It looks like there isn't crap to do in Shreveport, but with a bunch of Clones it would be fun. It would also be a lot less hassle in driving and booking hotels, etc.

Alumni Association might put something together I would guess. The Athletic Dept I think has their hands full with travel plans for team/staff/family so I'm guessing they stay out of the charter bus business. Gridiron Club may do something as well.

The alumni association has already stated on their website they are working on preliminary plans now.

Its a looooong amount of time to be on a bus. (bused with the band to shreveport last time). And ive lived on a bus for 2 summers, haha.

I would be interested. The biggest thing with Shreveport would be the trip would probably leave the day after Christmas, which might cut down on some. I would think there would be enough to fill up some charters.

Yes there are. Other than that there isn't much to do there but can't be picky this year.

I doubt any package you guys could put together would compete with the Alumni Association on prices, but I might be interested.

Casinos are always good. For me its either going to be a looong time on a bus or a loong time in a car and I would rather not be driving.

I'm in too. I enjoyed Shreveport both previous times - but then again, I look at a bowl game as a really, really good non-conf game, not a vacation destination...
