These types of things are what sunk DMac...being loyal to a fault. I hope Rhoads is not hesitant to make the tough decisions.
I also hope that Herman would be able to have some pull with getting the deal done. If Herman wants Beaty, I would hope CPR persues him. Of course, Beaty might not be available by the time our Bowl Game is over. Not sure how much Wells would be getting if fired or if the AD would want to spend the money.

He knows ISU, what it takes to win here and knows the area well. With Weis out, I would hope that he is on Rhoads radar as a possible coach for our staff should we have any openings.

Edit: Mods please remove the erroneous \\ in the title - thx

Rumor has it Alford is on the short list for the LSU RB coach spot that is currently open.

I would love to see TA at LSU/

That would be a great position for Tony. Let's just hope he doesn't lure any recruits away from us!

I don't think ISU recruits against LSU too many times.

Tony was a really nice guy. Wonder if we'll have any openings this year?

Should and I can think of the position, but probably wont.
NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

Former ISU coach Tony Alford is the first (and only, so far) member of Charlie Weis's staff hired by new ND coach Brian Kelly. He recruited a top notch DT while ND didn't have a head coach. His backs run hard, north and south, know how to block and don't fumble. One of the really good position coaches in the country.

Glad to hear that he stayed on, unless of course we could find a spot for him .
