Re: Jordan Rodgers
Looks like he's a great scrambler as well. I could see him going somewhere it was likely for him to start next year, but considering how we use our QB here, it is very likely he would earn at least one start next year due to injury.
But I will also say his o-line at Butte is incredible.

The other real question is if JT is going to play some WR. If that's the case, then they could use a solid backup just in case there are injuries.

Re: Jordan Rodgers
we need a spread qb .period.look at the qb western michigan had on tv last night-broke graham harrell's record for tds passes.we need a accurate throwng spread qb.the qbs we have are mid tier in the big 12 and i do not know how good barnett is(the qb commit from garland texas).i still think there are better qbs in texas that r still unsigned-darian godfrey from gilmer, tyler arndt from cuero, and josh dorman from birdsville texas.
gilmer is playing cuero for the 3a title in texas today.
it should be a real shootout.i encouraged rhoads to get someone to that game as there are alot of d-1 athletes on both squads.gilmer is loaded with kids that run a 4.4 40's.cuero has a tremendous soph running back in trent jackson. he will be a super blue-chipper by the time he is a senior.rhoads is already eyeballing him.

Re: Jordan Rodgers
When I see Jordan Rodgers, I see a similar type prospect:
Jordan Rogers
6'1"
200
pretty athletic Colt McCoy (High school recruiting profile)
6'1"
180
40: 4.7
*Pro Style*
Both very similar IMO

Call it the Brad Banks effect.
I want to see someone who can get the snap, make a quick read and deliver the ball in stride. And I want someone who can find the open WR if the first option is covered. On top of that, they need someone who has the wheels and ability to run the zone read. If they can find someone like that, he's going to start because there's no one on the current roster that can do all of those things.
One good thing about bringing in a JUCO...it should allow Tiller to play some WR if the coaches decide he can make a difference there.

We need a "true" pocket passer with some decent wheels to fully get this offense going.
