God bless ESPN
3 hour bowl coverage that included several pieces replayed (the Nick Saban interview was played at least three times), but couldn't find the time to mention a few of the bowls (including the insight bowl, unless i missed it at the beginning).
Well done.

Re: God bless ESPN
The Insight bowl is not on their network so maybe they kinda look down on it a bit. That's my best guess.

Re: God bless ESPN
3 hours of coverage. Most bowls received approximately 30 seconds of coverage.
Insight Bowl -- Didn't even mention the matchup.
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012. -
Re: God bless ESPN
why would they talk abt it, its not on their family of networks.

Re: God bless ESPN
ESPN is like the neanderthal for all it's evolution is still beating stones with wooden sticks for unbeknown reasons...
-
Re: God bless ESPN
you are surprised that they spent alot of time covering games a large number of people would care about regardless of which team they followed rather than talk about a game that can't even be seen in many homes? I mean really, ESPN takes a lot of deserved heat, but this is ridiculous.

Re: God bless ESPN
They won't go out of their way to help promote a game on a competing network.

Doubt it.

Re: God bless ESPN
They said they would talk about EVERY and ALL 34 bowl games. They lied. They only talked about half of the bowl games and most of the time it was Texas-Alabama and BCS garbage. ESPN is a joke.

I would have found something better to do with my time than watch espn for 3 hours hoping for a 30 second blurb about ISU.

The popularity thing wasn't a main concern I don't think; I'm pretty sure the bowl with USC in it was barely covered as well

Re: God bless ESPN
A 6-6 vs 6-6 that isn't on their network probably isn't the most appealing to them

Re: God bless ESPN
I didn't watch all the coverage but I'm pretty sure they played the Saban interview 3 times.
