Minnesota, From an Iowa Perspective
Being that Iowa played Minn not too long ago, how did Iowa fan's feel about playing Minn? I mean what are their strengths, weaknesses, players to look out for?
Does Jon still frequent this board? If so, I would not mind his insight(pun intended) on Minnesota?

ugh ... they provide way too much unrequested insight already. at least get this thing moved to the in-state rivals forum, because its not in them to keep in civil for long.

According to the The Big 10 Network's Gerry DiNardo, all Minn has to do is show up! He was basing his analysis off our losses to Iowa and Oklahoma State. What would you expect, though?

Re: Minnesota, From an Iowa Perspective
I think it's a pretty good matchup that you guys can definitely win. Minnesota's offense has been pretty bad since they lost Decker about 5-6 weeks ago. Their defense is ok at best. Their coach is a moron and I can't wait to hear his post game interview when you guys beat them. (excuses galore)
Iowa played terrible against them on offense but that was mostly due to poor qb play by our backup and the lack of running game due to all of our rb's except for Paki being hurt or dinged up.
You guys should be able to move the ball against them consistently. I can see you guys winning something like 24-14
