Suh is the best out of that bunch IMO.
Mods I guess you can merge or delete one of them :biglaugh:
Very glad to see Suh get in there. He would be my vote.
I'm no fan of kNU but it's hard not to say Suh is the most dominating player this year...
I'm pulling for Suh, out of big bastard solidarity.
Suh would get my vote as well. The others are worthy, but Suh is a serious gamechanger.
No Spiller? Interesting. I would rather have him there than Tebow.
How did Tim Tebow get the required votes to be able to make it as a finalist??
I mean really, the guy has not put up the numbers this year to merit the award. If Mccoy played himself out of the award, there is no way that Tebow played his way into a second Heisman.
Now if this was an Oscar for best Male Crying Scene, then yeah, the guy is a lock to win it.
Now we are going to have to sit through a full week of ESPN praising Tebow.
Going to be very interesting with Gerhart winning the west votes, Suh the Midwest, McCoy and Ingram could split the south and Tebow wins the east. (my opinion)
I'll just go head-to-head for a mini-tournament:
Ingram beat Tebow head-to-head.
Suh beat McCoy head-to-head (and beat McCoy's head in, as well.)
Ingram is very, very, very good on a balanced, top-flight team that is darn close to incredible. Bama still wins without him, though.
Suh is the Atlas of the Black Shirts, almost single-handedly taken that team (not just the defense) on his shoulders.
[And Gerhardt gets a lovely parting gift. Special to his team, a fantastic player, tons of fun to watch, and a leader. But not in Ingram's league.]
Would love to see a defensive player win it. I'm pulling for Suh.
Not a Husker fan, but if this is an award based on merit, then Suh should win it. If he doesn't, they are saying that no lineman will ever be good enough to win it.
Can anybody here remember a college lineman that dominant in the last 20 years? He has to be accounted for on every play.
I hope he gets it, I really do. He deserves it, and it would be a great thing for the sport if he won.
My list would be Suh, Gerhardt, Ingram, McCoy, then probably Tebow.
Suh deserves to win.
Will he win it? I doubt it. Sad.
