On their visit to Ames, bowl officials will be pleased to hear that the Cyclones have already sold more than 5,000 tickets (nearly half the school allotment) for the New Year’s Eve match-up against Minnesota despite missing a day of sales this week because inclement weather closed the school.
When will we know how well tickets are selling from Insights ticket offices as well? Last time the numbers were 12,000 and 8,000. If ISUs ticket office is at 5,000 would one suspect that Insight has sold 3,000?
Good news! This will be good to reaffirm ISU fans willingness to travel to Phoenix because the Insight Bowl is about to make a jump in Prestige. Next year the Insight will get the 4th pick of teams as it is jumping the Holiday Bowl. The big 12 also loses the Sun Bowl.
