KU's Gill adds Long OC & Torbush DC

long is probably a pretty good hire for gill. i think gilll will have a rough time at kansas,because i think grandpa bill snyder will own him him as long as snyder coaches at kansas state. snyder is a master at putting a team together with juco recruits and he has been recruiting some salty jucos for next year particularly in the defensive line. he also has an offer out to darian "stump" godfrey from gilmer ,texas, and i hope that godfrey does not end up at kansas state,because he may be as good as colt mccoy ,chase daniel,graham harrell,and our famous beakface qb drew tate that played at eiu. i just hope the godfrey does not go to k-state.i still do not understand why gill was not interested in the auburn and the iowa state job. i would surely have selected him over chizik for a head coaching job at auburn when he was a hot prospect last year.

I think TG got a lot less picky and had less leverage after this year's record at Buffalo versus last year

He was interested in Auburn....they simply chose the man with the lessor resume.
