Tiller is fine on the ground, but he needs to develop his eye and arm for the passing game before he can take the field as a true starter.

You do realize that Tiller is a RS Freshman this year right? Remember how AA looked as a RS Freshman? I personally think Tiller will be a very good QB for us and I believe he will play more next year then he did this year.

Its hard to believe that it is expected by many in a fanbase that a freshman or sophomore to have reached full potential.

I think everyone should lay off Arnaud. I think he has been pretty good. Has he really been that bad? It takes a while to learn this type of offense. Plus he is a great runner.

I'm looking for a good game out of Arnaud too. If he isn't picking up Herman's system any better at this point, I'll be concerned. It seemed that he was really starting to roll the last few games prior to his injury, and he's showed flashes since, but not to the same extent. I would feel great about next year if he steps it up for the bowl. Originally Posted by ISUcy08 Plus he is a great runner. He's really underrated by this board in that capacity.

You have to consider the source here. Some find it completely ok to be quite critical of our starting quarterback, who has much to improve on but can only do so much with a very limited receiver group - but on the flip side do not see any reason for anything remotely critical to be said of a back-up running back, especially when the critiques sent his way have been accurate. So they keep on harping on AA and making false cases why the back-up running back should play.
Amusing.
Our entire team has something to prove later this month - period.

Sorry, had to..
Even when Arnaud came back and was shaky after the hand injury, he wasn't nearly as shaky as he was during the non-con. The non-conference was downright terrible at times, and exacerbated by the Iowa game.
I'm still fairly confident that he can do the job. No worries about the bowl game -- I'm excited to see how he does. Hoping for the best.
