If Missouri goes to Big 10, who replaces Missouri
and how will the divisions look like
if its TCU that would be 5 Texas teams and 2 Oklahoma teams in the Big 12 so how would split the teams up
they wont split up Oklahoma and Oklahoma State or Kansas and Kansas St
They probabley want to keep Texas and Texas A&M in the same division as well for their rivalry
East Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M
West Nebraska, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas Tech

Re: If Missouri goes to Big 10, who replaces Missouri
I think the Big XII goes for these teams in this order:
1. Miami
2. Notre Dame
3. Alabama
think about it. It just makes sense.

I heard USC or maybe Oregon wanted in... I could be wrong though. I heard this from Marty.

UNI would be an option.
In all seriousness, they would probably be filling one of the Big 10's bowl spots in football and would probably finish top 5 in the league in basketball.

And the revenue they'd bring to the conference. No way UNI would ever be considered. Arkansas would be a great pick up, but I'd put my dough on TCU. Can't figure out why Notre Dame doesn't just join the Big 10 and get it over with. Sorry Irish, but you may have to share a little revenue money with a conference. ND has always been a pain in the *** when it comes to this issue.

Simply kick out Baylor too and make it a 10 team conference.

Re: If Missouri goes to Big 10, who replaces Missouri
What about snagging a team from the Mountain West? Utah has been building a strong football program and their basketball isn't horrible. That way the divisions really don't change much.

Re: If Missouri goes to Big 10, who replaces Missouri
what about Colorado State?

Here are some options,
Tulsa
Texas El-Paso
Colorado State
Houston
My choice - Air Force Acadamy
But I wonder why Mizz would want to leave the Big 12 with such a lucrative TV contract for football.

Interesting that no one ever mentions SMU. They are a program on the rise, have tradition (albeit relatively ancient at this point), and have an affluent alumni base.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
Re: If Missouri goes to Big 10, who replaces Missouri
The Big 12 would do the same thing the Big 10 is doing and go after a market that they currently do not have.
Some that come to mind right away would be Memphis, Northern Illinois, New Mexico and Utah.
