I just don't like seeing college football recruiting starting to go the same way as the NFL combine, where a guy like Josh Freeman is listed as a first round pick based only on his size. I wouldn't be too nit-picky if this kid is breaking records and he's just now getting attention from other schools. Kellen Moore got offers from Boise St., Idaho and Eastern Washington after he set Washington State career and single-season records and now he's top-5 in the nation in passer rating and TD passes.
if the kid can play he can play. i'll never understand how measurable physical stats always beat out production and intangibles.
They have to be taken into account. Given there are some diminutive QBs who are good but the overwhelming majority of pure pocket passers are 6'2 or better.
