Fitzgerald visits Rhoads
Insight Bowl Notebook: NFL star visits; Rhoads' son works out | desmoinesregister.com | The Des Moines Register
I thought this was very cool. They've been apart for years, but he still took time out to visit CPR and the Clones. And they probably didn't even cross paths much at Pitt being on either side of the ball. Says a lot about Fitzgerald and CPR IMO.

Wow, that interesting on Smith's background

Re: Fitzgerald visits Rhoads
I think that I have heard that CPR was the one who locked up Fitzgerald at Pitt. He has a pretty phenominal recruiting reputation. Whatever school he was at, they would send CPR to lock in a kid whether he was on the offensive or defensive side of the ball. From the looks of his 1st recruiting class here, I don't think much has changed at all.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -

Re: Fitzgerald visits Rhoads
What if he's a friend of their coach? I can't imagine this is breaking the rules.

Dez Bryant was being questioned about this very subject when he lied. That was the intitial cause of questioning. I would think, though, if ti was like a little seminar or camp type thing for the whole team, it may be ok.

Re: Fitzgerald visits Rhoads
it's probably ok as long as they don't lie about working out with him if the NCAA asks
