Fitzgerald visits Rhoads

I thought this was very cool. They've been apart for years, but he still took time out to visit CPR and the Clones. And they probably didn't even cross paths much at Pitt being on either side of the ball. Says a lot about Fitzgerald and CPR IMO.

I think that I have heard that CPR was the one who locked up Fitzgerald at Pitt. He has a pretty phenominal recruiting reputation. Whatever school he was at, they would send CPR to lock in a kid whether he was on the offensive or defensive side of the ball. From the looks of his 1st recruiting class here, I don't think much has changed at all.

Too bad Fitzgerald couldn't spend an afternoon with our WRs. I've heard he's one of the hardest working players in the league.

Ya, I don't know how that would work if it was supervised by our staff. I no it is a no-no if they do it privately.

I would assume it would be to control the attempts of agents to get in touch. Dez Bryant was being questioned about this very subject when he lied. That was the intitial cause of questioning. I would think, though, if ti was like a little seminar or camp type thing for the whole team, it may be ok.
