Cedar Rapids Game Watch at Deanoz

One of my Clone buddies knows the owner of Deanoz on First Avenue, and he said that the owner wants to become the Cyclone bar in CR. He is setting something up for the bowl game, not sure what, but at least he is doing something. Come on out and join us Thursday night.

Just so you know, the Alumni Association Club of Linn County is having a gamewatch gathering at the Tilted Kilt in Cedar Rapids. They have a room reserved there. The Tilted Kilt is the location listed with the Alumni Association on their web site as the Cyclone location for Linn County.

It's the Banquet Room which I assume is not a small room. Look, I am not from the CR area, just passing on info since I am a pretty active member of the Alumni Association. I have swapped emails with the club president in CR.

It's a good sized room, but only a room ... maybe holds 30-40 people, I'm assuming there will be spillover into the rest of the place.

BWW next door also always seems to have a decent Cyclone contingent.

Is Third Base Brewery on Blairsferry officially "out" as the Alumni Assoc bar?

It can hold 60 but not much more. That is where we had our wedding rehersal dinner back when it was a steakhouse. It would not be much of a "sports bar" setting to watch a game.
