    Pep Rally

    Does anyone have a report on tonight's pep rally for those of us who couldn't be there?

    It was pretty cool. LOTS of fans there. The place it was held at was kind of tourist trappish... it was a complex that had very southwest themed stuff to see/do/buy, you could buy food/drinks, etc. At one far end was the stage, where Geoffroy started off the night with a speech, followed by Pollard, Jon Walters, CPR, and then the team captains all said a few words and got the fans involved. The band was there and playing the typical ISU tunes. It was a fun time but for how many fans were there (a lot!) it really wasn't that loud during the fight song and chant/yelling songs. There were a lot of families and old folks too so I think that had something to do with it. We stayed for about an hour and it was a good time but I wouldn't have wanted to be there a whole lot more than that.

    Wow, nice! If there were 6,000+ at the pep rally, I would expect a fairly large number of ISU fans at the game!
